Regensburger Weissbräuhaus in Regensburg

Actually, I don't write any reviews, but the Weißbräuhaus definitely deserves one! Super delicious food for a very fair price and the portions are really big despite Corona (in my experience, many restaurants have reduced portions during this time). The staff is very friendly and sauces are also available at no extra charge! I can really only recommend it and I'll be back!

Ordered dinner yesterday to pick up. I had the food in hand within 20 minutes. It was hot, very well packaged, and of good quality. With a 30 percent discount for self-collectors, it was also unbeatable. Let's do it again.

Unfortunately not what it used to be. On my last visit in October 2020, I ate a sauerbraten. The meat was dry and the dumpling was heated in the microwave and therefore not tasty. There is nothing to complain about about the service, the staff is on their toes and friendly, so they can still be awarded 2 stars.

Very great brewery! The waiters were very nice and courteous and enabled us to get a table without a reservation, even on a well-attended evening. The catering convinced us all around. Not only were the beers tasty, the starters and main courses were also good. The good vegetarian selection should be positively emphasized, certainly not typical for a brewery.

Nice that we have chosen this location. Typical brewery style with its own brewery and very nice, courteous staff. We decided on the light wheat, but the next time I would also test all varieties, because there is a sample set on the menu. Food was very good and plentiful. Gladly again.

Great and lovingly furnished restaurant. The brew kettles were cleaned spick and span, the corona measures were adhered to perfectly. The paintings on the wall are amazing and worth the visit in and of themselves. The service was nice and the beer was delicious. One star deduction, because we had to wait longer for our cold starter than the table next to us, which without exception ordered warm dishes after us. The waiting time was just ok - it wasn't crowded.

Was back at work on Wednesday in Regensburg and again with my colleague in this beautiful brewery! The duck was delicious, maybe the sauce could be better, think about working with red and port wine ... Making dumplings yourself would be good too. Instead of red cabbage, a great savoy cabbage cream would be delicious with vegetables or Brussels sprouts with bacon ... The wheat cola was delicious! Always very tasty! If you don't make a reservation, it is often difficult to get a seat. But when you get hold of one, it's always very quick, even when it's full. The waiters are very attentive but not intrusive. The prices are okay, but you can ask for a little more for the quality. And for vegetarians, there is an astonishingly large number of choices for a Bavarian restaurant 😉

Tasty food in an appealing ambience in the heart of Regensburg's old town! Due to the location a bit higher price range, but definitely worth a visit. The in-house beer selection is also impressive!

A typical Bavarian cuisine, full of meat and beer;) a few vegetarian / vegan dishes will also be found (but looking at the suggestions, it is probably because they needed it rather than felt the need - but of course I can be wrong). Our dishes were, at best, correct, I sinned because I don't eat meat, and I was moderately satisfied - or my veg taste buds might just be shocked. The service is naturally wonderful, nice and helpful. I love western hospitality! Affordable as everywhere in this type of place. We paid 36 € for two main courses and two beers (that's Bavaria!).

Very tasty food, good service and really tasty beer. Sitting outside "in the middle of the pedestrian zone" is entertaining but of course not the typical beer garden cosiness. ;-)

This place serves authentic bavarian meals with some excellent beers. Recommended.

The dishes are nicely prepared and are always served warm. Not only was the attentive staff the absolute bestseller during my visit, but also the great climate. The seating is extremely comfortable and I think the distance between the seats is extremely appropriate. There you don't get the feeling of dining like fish in a can in the evening. My husband and I are completely pleasantly surprised. We will all definitely return.

We had reservations for dinner and that was our luck. The staff is very friendly and polite. The food is very tasty and excellently prepared. The onion roast beef cooked to the point. The brewer's feast was also great, the wheat beer was also a nice experience, as was the Altbay. Bright. We were very satisfied.

The food was very good. Despite the huge portions, empty plates spoke for themselves. The beer there is fabulous. Very nice ambience. However, one point deduction because of the service. She was by no means stupid, but she was quite stressed, which is why she was a bit annoyed. Otherwise I can only recommend this brewery.

Highlight of our transit, extremely good food. If you are looking for nice German cuisine, this is the right place. Very generous portions, at fair prices, with good taste, what more could the palate want? Definitive recommendation.

Great restaurant with its own brewery in the pedestrian zone. 5 minutes from the car park at Dachauplatz. Eating in front of the restaurant is possible. Food very good, prices ok. In addition to the excellent beers, take a look at the spirits. The pear schnapps with honey is unique!

I visited here a number of times in 2005, and the food and beer were always incredible.

The Weissbrauhauss had a good menu (some of it even in English which was a first for the city!), service was excellent, portions were certainly generous and it was very good value. We left feeling utterly stuffed.

Absolutely mediocre service, and food that smacked of cheap commercialism. There was nothing redeeming about the beer or the food, and the service was laced with smug arrogance. Do not waste your time or money on this establishment which has nothing going for it. There is so much better to experience in Regensburg. I've given it a star as its a requirement, otherwise it would have got no stars as it certainly isn't worthy of any.

Very nice surprise! The staff are extremely kind ... even when you don't speak German. The food is delicious and plentiful. Really to recommend to have a good time.

Great food, beer and service!

Great service, great food, great beer, super awesome. This is how you can describe the Weissbräuhaus. The food was really delicious and the beer runs down like water. There are also very nice waitresses. Clear recommendation for everyone who wants to eat (or drink beer) in Regensburg in. Good middle-class at reasonable prices. We were there and will be back.

Lovely servers & cosy restaurant. The pork chops w/ sauerkraut was really tasty. Do try their house beer!

Good beer, super food, but very hot (no fresh air).

Really can’t recommend this place. It’s a nice interior, that’s all what’s positive. Prices are wat too high, it’s a rip-off for tourists. If the food quality was at least matching the high prices.. food quality was low, we ordered several dishes. Especially the ‘Kaiserschmarrn’ was just bad. It didn’t look & taste like real Kaiserschmarrn, this was just something very cheap. Definitely not going there again.

Worse service ever at a restaurant in Germany, we waited more then 1 hour to have a pretzel on the table!..doesn’t matter how good the food is, the service should be at the same level.

Amazing food. After a 3 weeks trip to Bavaria, the best restaurant we have been in. Super recommended.

Amazing staff and kids friendly. Despite running short of manpower and with continuous influx for hungry patron entering the restaurant looking for a table, the staff is so helpful and making sure our request is taken. And to the diner, please be a little patient as they are really busy😅 food is good

Really nice place, if you want to eat local food, this is one of the places in town that I recommend. The homemade Spätzle are really good.

This brewery was part of a beer tour. The two hefeweissen they brewed were excellent. Local sausages were included, also excellent.

I LOVED the beer, the food, the people EVERYTHING! Our host was amazing and gave us such great information! Out of the 7 beers we tried only one was not to my taste as it was a little fizzy :) but the others were awesome! The strudel was some of the best on our trip! Would love to come again just to come to your establishment!!

Great restaurant. The sausages & kraut tasted just like my German grandma used to make. Loved the sweet mustard! The dark beer was excellent - very smooth, not bitter. Service was very good & prices were reasonable.

Came for the wheat beer and wasn't disappointed.

I had a good goulash here, the guests that were with me all enjoyed their selected dishes as well. The amount of vegetables with some dishes was disappointing; like in many restaurants, also here they do not seem to care about a balanced healthy meal.

This was the only place we went on our trip to Germany that didn't have great beer. I ended up ordering water. The food was strictly mediocre. It's a good location but I wished we had kept walking.

We just wanted to find some good typical bavarian food style in a nice ambiente and we found it right here in Regensburg! If you are nearby and would like to eat simular, be sure to visit this place. We will definitly come back here too.

Entire menu is delicious and have some unique spins like their burger. Atmosphere is great as well.

I came here a few days ago to celebrate my birthday and I was really impressed. The service was not only top-notch (the waitress was very friendly and attentive), but the food was absolutely delicious. I don't think I waited more than 10 minutes from when I ordered to the time at which the waitress brought our meals to us. The beer was also ,,empfehlenswert", I recommend it without any doubt. I can only say that I will most definitely be coming back! Thank you for a wonderful evening and experience!

Good sausage, great beer and the sweet mustard is the best!!! Sehr Gut
